METRO THEATRE RENTALS
Metro Theatre offers rentals for our theatre, lounge, scene shop, and rehearsal hall, as well as our large costume and properties inventory. Read here to find out more if Metro is the right fit for you!
VENUE Overview
The venue includes accessible seating, a welcoming lobby with a concession counter, and an upstairs lounge that can be rented separately or for pre-show or post-show events.
Just a few blocks away, our fully equipped scene shop and rehearsal hall at Oak St. & Marine Drive is also available for rental. It includes a large inventory of props and costumes, which are available for hire.
The theatre is available for rentals daily from mid-June to mid-August, with limited availability during the rest of the year depending on our production schedule.
THEATRE RENTALS
Metro Theatre’s auditorium features over 300 comfortable seats and a 28-foot stage, making it a flexible and inviting venue for a wide range of events. When not in use for productions, the space is available for rentals. We also offer private buyouts of performances, a popular option for fundraisers and corporate gatherings.
The welcoming lobby includes a dedicated box office, ideal for registration or sign-in, along with a concession counter offering coffee, water, pop, and snacks for sale. You may include our bar
Upstairs, our licensed lounge provides space for pre- or post-event gatherings and can include optional bar service during your rental.
Metro Theatre is available for daytime and evening rentals throughout the summer (June to mid-August), with limited availability during the rest of the year based on our production schedule.

LOUNGE RENTALS
Looking for a warm, flexible, and licensed space for your next gathering? The Metro Theatre Lounge offers a relaxed, welcoming environment perfect for both social and professional events.
Connected to the lounge is a convenient office, equipped with a fridge, sink, and microwave – making it easy to serve light snacks or refreshments. A lounge rental is the perfect opportunity for intimate performances, casual meet-ups, or professional meetings in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Commercial: $150/hr
Non-Profit / Educational: $82.50/hr
Scene Shop/Rehearsal Hall Rentals
A few blocks away from Metro Theatre, at Oak St. and Marine Drive sits our dedicated scene shop and rehearsal hall.
Rehearsal Hall Features:
- 1600 square ft.
- Small bathroom.
- Microwave.
- Assorted chairs and tables.
Need to build a set but have nowhere to do it? Our scene shop is fully equipped with the space and tools needed.
Props and Costumes
Costume and Properties Rentals
Metro Theatre has an extensive inventory of props and costumes which are available to rent. The majority of our inventory is geared towards comedies and mysteries set in the 1920s through the 1960s. Properties include suitcases, prop glassware, typewriters, and prop guns.
