DEATHTRAP offers twists, turns and a touch of comedy – Jan 11 through Feb 8

By Ira Levin

Sidney Bruhl is a famous playwright of thrillers, but he hasn’t had a hit in years. Along comes Clifford Anderson, an enthusiastic student and fan of Sidney’s, who’s just written the perfect play – a five-character, one-set, two-act thriller. Certainly Sidney should have a piece of this pie? After all, it was his teachings that influenced Clifford! Sidney’s wife Myra suggests the two men collaborate – this success should be shared. But that’s where the story takes a turn… Are the playwrights working with or against each other? As with all great thrillers, you’ll have to see it for yourself to find out.

Directed by Don Briard and stage managed by Shay Cameron, this award-winning thriller stars:

Drew Taylor as Sidney Bruhl

Melanie Preston as Myra Bruhl

James Behenna as Clifford Anderson

Deborah Tom as Helga ten Dorp

Don Briard as Porter Milgrim

“It is a classic thriller, a genre with a style, a manner and an audience of its own. If you like thrillers, do see it. I promise you that it is vintage.” ~ NY Post

“Two-thirds a thriller and one-third a devilishly clever comedy… Suspend your disbelief and be delighted. Scream a little. It’s good for you.”  ~ Cue Magazine
