ways to Support Metro Theatre
There are so many ways you can support Metro Theatre. From volunteering, donating items used for set decoration and props, to donating in memoriam, we’re grateful for any support from the community.
Monthly giving
Support Metro Theatre regularly by joining the Monthly Giving Program. It's simple: we'll automatically deduct a small amount from your credit card each month. You pick the donation amount and the payment date—1st or 15th of the month. At year's end, receive one tax receipt for all your donations.

Buyout a performance
Want a private performance for your company or organization? Are you looking for the perfect holiday celebration for your organization? Are you looking for a great fundraising opportunity? Then why not consider a buyout performance at the Metro Theatre?
We offer the Metro Theatre Buyout program for shows throughout the season. We offer full buyouts and partial buyouts on Thursday and Friday evening performances. For full buyouts, you get 300+ seats to host or sell at your discretion. For partial buyouts, you get exceptional rates for large parties, or you may consider buying out the balcony (it’s close to the bar)!

Season subscriptions
Another great way to support the Metro Theatre is by becoming a season subscriber! Gain exclusive access to all-season shows and enjoy priority seat selection. As a subscriber, you'll receive VIP discounts and become a VIP member of the Metro Theatre, with access to special pricing and additional benefits. It's an excellent way to show your support for Metro Theatre while enjoying cost savings on tickets.

Employee matching donations
Several Canadian workplaces offer to match the donations made by their employees and retirees to charitable organizations like the Metro Theatre. We encourage you to inquire with your employer about the availability of Matching Fund Programs within your company. If your employer would like to match donations, please contact us.
DONATE A CAR
Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for The Metropolitan Cooperative Theatre Society. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to The Metropolitan Cooperative Theatre Society through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age, and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for The Metropolitan Cooperative Theatre Society to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. Please click here to donate a vehicle.
Donating items
We are grateful for all items donated to Metro Theatre. Though we would love to accept everything, unfortunately, we just don’t have the space to house all the beautiful things donated to our theatre. Therefore, our team is highly selective with what we accept.
Metro Theatre has compiled a wishlist of items we're actively seeking. If you happen to have any of these items and are willing to donate or contribute, please reach out to us.
