Shakespeare in Love

April 3 - April 25, 2026

ABOUT THE SHOW

QUEEN ELIZABETH: Can a play show us the very truth and nature of love?

Young Will Shakespeare is in a rut. He’s plagued by writer’s block and a pile of debts, and his latest play-Romeo and Ethel, the Pirate’s Daughter-is going nowhere fast. But when he meets Viola de Lesseps, a noblewoman with a passion for the theatre, inspiration strikes. Viola disguises herself as a man to perform onstage, sparking a passionate love affair and a breakthrough for Shakespeare’s work.

Shakespeare in Love is a witty, fast-paced celebration of romance, mischief, and the magic of live theatre. Love, and a bit with a dog!
