Help Us Improve the Metro Experience
Metro Theatre is proud to be a self-sustaining community theatre, meaning we independently fund all repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to our space.
We’re launching the Royal Flush Fund to support essential improvements that will directly impact the comfort, safety, and experience of our audiences.

Help us reach our next milestone and bring this project to life.
What We’re Raising Funds For
Your support will go toward:
- Expanding and renovating all public washrooms (including increasing the women’s washroom from 3 stalls to 6)
- Upgrading our HVAC system
- Improving sprinklers and fire safety systems
- Enhancing fire exits and overall infrastructure
These upgrades are a vital step in preserving Metro Theatre as a welcoming and accessible space for our community.
Why It Matters
If you’ve ever spent intermission waiting in line, you already know the challenge.
This campaign is about more than convenience—it’s about improving the overall theatre-going experience, ensuring comfort for our audiences, and investing in the long-term sustainability of a beloved cultural space.
As the only cultural amenity in the Marpole area, Metro Theatre plays an important role in Vancouver’s arts community. Your support helps us continue that work.
How You Can Help
Every contribution makes a difference.
Whether you’re supporting a specific upgrade or simply giving what you can, you are helping us build a better experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Donate today and be part of Metro Theatre’s future.
Campaign Chairs
