When a world-famous opera star passes out before the biggest night in Cleveland opera history, his hapless assistant must step in-literally. What follows is a whirlwind of mistaken identities, slamming doors, and not one but two Pagliaccis tearing through a hotel suite. Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Tenor is a fast-paced farce of love, lies, and high notes gone wildly wrong.
