Argel Monte de Ramos - Joseph
Argel (he/him) is thrilled to make his debut at Metro Theatre! A Filipino-Canadian actor and award-winning singer-songwriter, he was a Top 10 finalist in CBC Music’s Searchlight in 2021. Select acting credits include Manager/Ensemble in Elf! The Musical (Arts Club, Ovation Award 2024 Winner), Horton in Seussical (Align Entertainment), and Eddie in Mamma Mia! (Theatre Under The Stars). Select composer credits include Cinderella and Knotted (RCTC), DTF? (Crazy8s Film), Last Night (MAMM, Film) and Camp Goneaway (Ragamuffin Productions, Fringe Pick of the Year 2024). He recently performed at the JUNO Awards Block Party 2024.

Ivania Delgado - Narrator
Ivania is tickled pink to finally be doing this show. She is a graduate from Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program. Select credits include: Godspell (Play on Words), Beehive (First Impressions), Shrek (Align), 9 to 5 (CapU Theatre), It’s A Wonderful Life, Grand Hotel (Arbutus Studio). Love you mom and dad!

Steve Dotto - Jacob
Steve began his love of the theatre in High School under the legendary Grace McDonald. In fact his first show was right here at the Metro, in 1974 Fiddler on the Roof! A misspent youth saw Steve spending most of his spare time on stage somewhere in the Lower Mainland, from the Metro Theatre to Richmond Gateway, Dunbar Musical Theatre and TUTS.

Matt Ramer - The Pharaoh
Matt has been performing in musical theatre for over 30 years across Canada, the US, and Europe. In BC he has worked with TUTS, United Players, APPLAUSE!, and RCMT, among others. Previous Metro credits include the Dame in Cinderella!, The Demon in Sinbad! and Vic Fleming in Moonlight and Magnolias.

Pau Homs I Farre - Reuben
Back in his hometown, Barcelona, Pau was a part of the Cor Jove de l’Orfeo Sarrianenc (Barcelona-based youth choir) (2020-2022). Having moved to Canada in 2022, this production is his debut in the Vancouver theatre scene. Outside of theatre, Pau is a digital artist in animation.

Tony Dizon - Simeon
Tony (he/they) is an emerging artist from Winnipeg, MB, and a recent Graduate of Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program. Selected credits include Narrator/Schmidty in Bound! The Musical in Concert (Metro Theatre), Doug/Mr. Williams-Spencer in School of Rock (Theatre Under The Stars) and Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants (Blueshore Theatre).

Harold Perdomo - Levi
Harold is thrilled to be performing for the first time with Metro Theatre. He has previously worked on The Prom (Theatre Under the Stars), 9-to-5 (Fraser Valley Stage), and Catch Me If You Can (Theatre in the Country).

Cloris Li - Naphtalli
Cloris (she/her) was born and raised in China. She is a well-trained dancer with training across Korea and Canada, including Illustrative Society, Quill Collective, Studio North, and with choreographers Bada Lee and Lia Kim. A UVic Theatre and UBC Theatre Education graduate, she is trilingual and excited for her musical debut at Metro Theatre!

RJ Laine - Issachar
RJ isn’t a stranger to the stage. Growing up dancing competitively for 10 years with Peggy Peat, it guided them into the realm of musical theatre. They have performed in Footloose (Stage 43), The Last Real Summer (Emerald Pig), All Together Now (Theatre in the Country), and more.

Maria Marshall - Asher/Baker
Maria is a graduate from Capilano University’s Musical Theatre program, and their Music Diploma program, majoring in Classical Voice. Past credits include: Amélie in Amélie the Musical, Miss Gardner in Carrie The Musical (Capilano University), Aunt Em/Glinda u/s (CTORA), Ensemble in We Will Rock You, School of Rock (TUTS)

Danny Tepper - Dan/Potiphar
From Lloydminster, Alberta, Danny moved to Victoria where he studied theatre at the Canadian College of Performing Arts. Some of Danny’s credits include: SpongeBob – SpongeBob Musical, Ren – Footloose, Doody – Grease as well as 3 tours with SaskExpress. Having had the opportunity to perform across western Canada, Danny is stoked to be making his debut in Vancouver with the Metro!

Patrick Yukman - Zebulon/Butler/Voice Captain
A lifelong fan of musical storytelling, Patrick is returning to theatre after a decade-long tech career. Recent theatrical credits include: Godspell (Disciple/Assistant Music Director). Select choral credits include: Hotel California 2022 Tour (Eagles), Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy (Vancouver Symphony Orchestra), Beethoven Symphony No. 9 (Vancouver Bach Choir).

Rachel Scheibel - Gad/Narrator Understudy
Rachel is a graduate of Capilano University’s Musical Theatre Program. Credits include: Ethel in The Music Man, Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Seussical, Shrek (Align); School of Rock, 42nd Street (TUTS); and Disciple in Godspell (Play On Words) for which she was nominated for Outstanding Ensemble Performance at the 2024 OVATION! Awards.

Raphael Tolentino - Benjamin
Originally from the Philippines, Raphael has been partaking in Vancouver’s musical theatre community and is making their Metro Theatre debut! Past credits: Teen Ensemble – The Music Man (Align Entertainment), Disciple – Godspell (Play on Words Production), Various Roles – Sapin-Sapin: Filipinx Arts Festival (NPC3), Rothbart, Featured Dancer – Anastasia (TIC); Featured Chorus – The Addams Family (FVMT).

Bonnie Welch - Judah/Mrs. Potiphar
Raised on musicals, Bonnie is overjoyed to live out her childhood dream of performing Joseph. She is a graduate from the Capilano Musical Theatre Program and since then, has gone on to perform in multiple musicals. Recent credits include Mary Poppins(Theatre in the Country), The Wizard of Oz (Deep Cove Stage Society), Curtains (Applause), Urinetown (Capilano Theatre) and more.

Hailey Fowler - Fabulous Dancer Singer/Dance Captain/Assistant Choreographer
Hailey returns to Metro in this vibrant show, previously seen in the Sinbad Panto (Meg/Dance Cap.) A familiar theatre face, she is an OVATION nominated performer. Last fall, she debuted as a director/choreographer (BOUND: The Musical). A multidisciplinary arts educator, Hailey inspires students to explore expression as storytellers. Danica Domay - Fabulous Dancer Singer/Female Swing
This marks Danica’s second journey to the land of Canaan after previously performing the show in 2019 (Gallery7). Since then, her repertoire has expanded to featured dancer roles in Mamma Mia, Nunsense (FVS), Anything Goes (FVMT), and most recently Mary Poppins (RCMT). When not on stage, Danica promotes healthy bodies and minds through her work as a fitness educator.

Christine Santa Maria - Fabulous Dancer Singer
Christine is a graduate of UBC in Bachelor of Arts: Sociology Major, Theatre Minor. She is no stranger to performing on stage. Some of her theatre credits: Sinbad! (Lady Finger), Pied Piper (Marie), Sleeping Beauty Wakes Up (Ensemble), Grease (Rizzo). Love you Mom & Dad. Thank you, God.

Livia Cohen - Keyboard 2
Livia (she/they) is an emerging musician and performer based in Vancouver, and a recent graduate of the Musical Theatre program at Capilano University. Select credits include keyboard for Heathers (Sherwood Theatre Co.), Charlie…Chocolate Factory(CTORA), Cats (TUTS), and Carrie (CapU Theatre).

Mark Richardson - Guitar
Mark is a guitarist, composer, and music educator, and has been involved in the Vancouver theatre scene for over twenty years. Previous credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Arts Club), Rock of Ages (Arts Club), and Pink Floyd’s The Wall (Live Stage Performance). A graduate of Brandon University and the Vancouver Academy of Music, Mark plays in the Vancouver rock band Ophelia Falling.

Sheldon Graham - Drums
Sheldon grew up in the Okanagan where his passion for theatre and music began. After studying theatre at the University of Victoria, Sheldon spent time in Toronto and Montreal performing music, theatre and stand up comedy wherever he could. This past year, Sheldon returned to the west coast which he dearly missed.

Chris Qiu - Bass
As a new musician to the theatre scene, Chris is delighted to play in his third ever show. Previous involvements include: Beauty and the Beast (Bass) and CATS (Drums/Percussion). From jamming with friends to performing in his school orchestra, Chris enjoys all things music.

Miranda Wheeler - Reeds
Miranda Eve is a woodwind doubler with specialization in clarinet, bass clarinet, and low saxophones. Past credits include: The Drowsy Chaperone (2017), 42nd Street (2018), & Matilda (2023) with Theatre Under the Stars, Cabaret (2018) & Singin’ in the Rain (2019) with RCMT; Annie (2019), Shrek (2020), Seussical (2023), and The Music Man (2025) with Align Entertainment.

Christopher King – Director
Chris is a director, music director, actor, composer, writer, and educator born and raised in Vancouver. He has had a long history with the Metro Theatre and very much considers it a large influence on his career. Recent credits: Music Director for Million Dollar Quartet (Persephone Theatre), Director for Chickens (United Players), Composer for Hunting Matthew Nichols (Feature Film), Music Director for Shrek (Western Canada Theatre). 13 Seasons at Theatre Under the Stars, 4 seasons at Gateway Theatre, 3 Seasons at Chemainus Theatre Festival. Jenaya Barker – Music Director/Keyboard 1
Jenaya is a Capilano Musical Theatre Program graduate and an accomplished actor, vocalist, songwriter, and musician. Stay humble, stay hydrated. Past credits include work with: Western Canada Theatre, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Pacific Theatre, First Impressions Theatre, Kay Meek Arts Centre, Far From the Tree Productions, URP, and TUTS.

Shelley Stewart Hunt – Choreographer
Shelley has had a long career in the performing arts as a singer, dancer, actor, choreographer and educator. Choreographic highlights include: Die Fledermaus (Vancouver Opera); Guys & Dolls (Arts Club); A Chorus Line (Studio 58); plus 13 seasons at TUTS. Shelley teaches tap and movement for Studio 58 at Langara College and was on faculty at Capilano University for 17 years. Shelley choreographed Cinderella! for Metro last December and will soon start work on Waitress for the Arts Club.

Alison Schamberger – Producer
Alison’s love of musical theatre began in Scotland where she performed with the Savoy Opera Group and in O What a Lovely War. In Canada she appeared in My Fair Lady and Fiddler on the Roof before directing many Broadway musicals, including 42nd Street, starring our very own Chris King.

Jo Sears – Producer
Having been a first-time producer of Metro’s pantomime, Cinderella, Jo has been persuaded to have another crack at it! An enthusiastic Board Member, she enjoys problem solving while bringing people together. With a passion for providing an enjoyable ‘night out’ experience at Metro, Jo is also our current ice-cream sales record holder.

Cat Main– Stage Manager
Cat (they/she) is a graduate of Capilano University’s Technical Theatre program and the University of British Columbia’s Theatre Production and Design program. Their previous stage management credits include: Betty Blue Eyes (CapU Theatre), The Wolves(UBC Theatre), Frog Belly Rat Bone (Axis Theatre), and Annie KIDS (VISM).

Dek Green – Lead Assistant Stage Manager/Stage Manager Swing
Dek is a Vancouver-based stage manager and theatre technician. Unable to keep herself away from theatre, she has worked on many Metro shows this season, including SM for Sinners and ASM for The Woman in Black. Her other recent stage management credits include Every Day She Rose (Zee Zee), Miracle on 34th Street (PoMo Players), and Fates Festival 2024 (Promethean).

Erin Gravelle MSM - Costume Designer
As a long time Fashion Designer and Stylist, Erin is excited to have her debut on the Metro stage. Being a generational Seamstress and operations manager of FABCYCLE Ltd. lends to her experience with textiles and clothing. She is so excited to showcase the dazzling costumes that this amazing technicolor show can offer.

Lisa Johns - Costume Design Assistant
Lisa is excited to be diving into the world of theatre wardrobe. She’s been making clothes for herself and others for years and loves the diversity and challenge at the Metro. Her dog Korra is the unofficial snoopervisor for Joseph’s costume team.v

Helen Moisejenko - Costume Design Assistant
Helen Moisejenko is a corsetiere, punk wear designer and the owner of Prick Designs, a small company focused on upcycling and textile art, with the mission of rescuing broken garments instead of making new things from scratch.

Keith S Woods – Lighting Designer
After quitting college to go on the road with a rock band – the modern-age version of joining the circus(?) – and spending many decades providing lighting for film characters as diverse as Pepe the King Prawn, Buddy the Elf, and the Merc with a Mouth, Keith is happy to be given the opportunity to return to theatre where it all started so many years ago.

Sam Armstrong - Sound Mixer
Sam is an actor and technician from Calgary, AB. His previous credits include Oliver!, Shakespeare’s Dog, The Magic Club of 2009, along with a wide range of other onstage and backstage work. This is Sam’s first production with Metro Theatre, and he’s thrilled to be part of Joseph!

Sierra Thambiratnam - ASM, Properties
As well as being her first time as an assistant stage manager, this is also Sierra’s first production outside of high school. In school, she has acted in Matilda, The Day the Internet Died, Mamma Mia and Little Women. Sierra is hoping to continue being a part of Metro productions in the future.
