You don’t need to be an actor or techie to take part in the magic at Metro Theatre.
There are several ways you can partner with us and support our mission to promote and develop theatre arts at the non-professional level:
1. See a show
The majority of our funding comes from the sale of our tickets. Every time you buy a ticket to see our shows, you’re directly supporting our productions. In addition to buying tickets to individual shows, we have various season ticket packages available – all at discounted prices over single show tickets.

2. Become a VIP Member
Members are the backbone of our theatre, and all season ticket holders and volunteers are automatically Members. But anyone can become a VIP as well. For only $20, you get annual VIP Membership at Metro Theatre, along with all its benefits and entitlements. Read about the VIP Membership Program, and then join us!
Metro Theatre is fueled by volunteers, and we’re always looking for enthusiastic people to get involved with us. If you’ve got a skill and some free time to offer us, chances are we’ll be able to put them to use.

We’re a registered charitable organization, so all Canadian donations are eligible for a tax receipt.
You can donate online using your credit card at tickets.metrotheatre.com (look for the button labelled “Donations”). Or, if you prefer to send a cheque, you can make it out to “Metro Theatre,” and send it us at the theatre, including your name and address.
Our charitable registration number is 12712 8221 RR0001.
In addition to donating money, we are always happy to accept unique items in good condition that we could use for costumes or props. If you have something you’re considering throwing out that might make a good addition to our wardrobe or props departments, please shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if we could use it.
5. Advertise with us
For each of our seven productions a year, we produce a program with valuable advertising space. In addition, we can advertise your product or service on our monitor displays in the lobby and lounge during any public performance or function. With our patrons coming from all over the Lower Mainland, your advertising dollars are sure to reach a wide-ranging audience.

6. Sponsor us
This is an alternative to regular donations or advertising. If you’d like to explore the various ways you or your organization could gain exposure with our patrons while knowing you’re making a significant contribution to our productions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Whatever level you’re interested to be involved at, we’ve an option for you.
7. Buy out a performance
Want a private performance of one of our nine shows each year? Looking for a great fundraising opportunity? We offer the chance to buy out the theatre for one of our show dates, giving you 300+ seats to sell at your own discretion. Email us at email@example.com to discuss how this works and what some organizations have done in the past to fundraise for their causes.
8. Rent the Theatre or Lounge
Do you need theatre space? On a non-show date, you have the opportunity to rent our theatre with either a full or partial stage. You can also rent our infamous lounge for a social or business occasion.
