Director’s Talk: ROBIN HOOD and MARION

catherine-and-bearJoin director Catherine Morrison and the  some of the cast of ROBIN HOOD and MARION immediately after the show on Friday, December 23rd for an informal chat.

There is no additional charge for the Director’s Talk, just stay in your seats or move up a bit closer to the stage. The session will last approximately 20 minutes.

Catherine Morrison will speak about the writing aspect of the pantomime,  and directing as well, if there is interest or questions.

Ms. Morrison’s motivation for writing specifically about the legend of Robin Hood was  a feeling that there is a resurgence of interest in this time period evidenced by popular  TV shows such as “Arrow”, “Game of Thrones”, “Once Upon a Time”,” Camelot”, and ” Gallivant”.

Further motivational interest came from the American election. Donald Trump was entering the Republican primary race in Jan -Feb last year  about the time  Catherine started writing in earnest. His pronouncements provided plenty of  panto material, sometimes on  a daily basis.
